TIRED, BUT IT FEELS SOOOO GOOD:)

Usually, I consider the weekend my "down time". I attempt to do my housework.early on Saturday, so the rest of the weekend is set aside for relaxing and doing that, which provides me with fun, as well as peace of mind. Sometimes my weekends are busy with tasks that have to be done and though I begin them, something seems to happen, which in turn means in the end, nothing gets accomplished. The proverbial 3 steps ahead and 6 steps back. This to me is a wasted weekend..

This weekend however, was one in which I accomplished big time and with such ease.....it surprised even me...lol I straightened the house, did the laundry, went food shopping, washed my car...my baby "Betsy"....and yes, she does have a name....lol She is sooooo shiny and clean now....inside and out. I love her!!!!! lol Let's see...... I ordered holiday gifts for all 4 of my grandchildren, I went out and just about finished my holiday shopping, and I say just about finished, because there is only one special person left to buy for....one of my Sons-In-Law. It's a little more difficult to know what he might like and because I am the type that would prefer to buy something that I know might be appreciated, instead of just buying something for the sake of buying, I am waiting for a "wish list" of sorts.. I also baked cookies for work, as we're having a cookie exchange tomorrow. You make a dozen cookies for each person participating. Last year I ended up with 10 dozen cookies of all varieties....lol The rule is, that they cannot be store bought...They must be hand made, so usually that means a fun time in the kitchen and it ends up with me being more coated in flour, than where it should be...lol, but I had fun:) . I made chocolate peanut butter cookies with peanut butter chips....Yum!!!!! and so simple to make.....the best kind!:) There was still time left for me to unwind, exercise and relax. All in all, a very productive day and what a great feeling that is

. Not to change the subject, but last weekend, I went to the movies to see DeJa Vous starring Denzel Washington. I don't believe there is one movie he has appeared in, that I don't like. He is a wonderful actor and the premise of the movie and the movie itself was terrific. It was the fastest 2 hours I ever spent in a movie theater. Damn, I didn't even finish the buttered popcorn and that is usually the highlight of my theater visit.....lol. I would recommend this movie very highly. I can't wait until "Rocky" is released this Christmas. This is one movie I will definitely not miss. I am a Die hard Rocky fan and proud of it:)

Until next time.......Keep a smile in your heart and make it a great day!:)

Funny, Dad said the same thing. I'm not a big Denzel fan but maybe it's worth checking out. I, of course will have to wait until it's a rental, because when do I ever get to go to the movies?!?!?
